Revved up for the 2022 National Trans Am Series

SITE Traffic is pleased to announce our partnering on board with Brett Holdsworth of TPS Group Racing in his #99 Chevrolet Camaro for this year’s Turtle Wax National Trans Am Series.

Trans Am racing was pioneered in the USA back in the 1960s and is one of the most enduring forms of motorsport anywhere in the world. The current evolution of the series caters for modern V8-powered, rear-wheel drive muscle cars that feature iconic makes such as Chevrolet Camaros, Ford Mustangs and Dodge Challengers.

SITE Traffic has previously been involved as sponsors in the Supercars Championship and Aussie Racing Cars series and have a long standing history with the Holdsworth family.

Marko Mrsic, Managing Director of SITE Traffic, said “ I am excited to be back involved in motor racing which has so many similarities with our company culture, our business and the traffic engineering services we provide. I can’t wait to see Brett and the amazing looking car on track soon.

I have actually known Brett and his brother Lee Holdsworth since they were both in high school back in the days when I was working for their father Glen in his traffic engineering business” says Marko.

Brett Holdsworth said “I’m so excited to have SITE Traffic on board especially given the long business history with my Dad and Marko. It’s really cool and exciting to have the full backing of a professional traffic engineering group like SITE Traffic which funnily enough aligns with us. Marko (or Mr Sick as I call him) runs an awesome company with a lot of history with us and I can’t wait to work with and represent them along with our other sponsors this year”.

Following testing this week, Brett will be in action for the 1st round on February 11-13 at Symmons Plains Raceway.
