We are pleased to announce we are now a Major Branch Sponsor of The Australian Institute of Traffic Planning and Management (AITPM).
AITPM is the national association for traffic and transport professionals. They advocate to government and industry, provide career support, hold various technical events and conferences, and promote the importance of transport to the broader community.
With some 2,000 individual members across Australia and abroad, the AITPM is a pivotal focal point for the industry. With a strong focus on career development, they have also established the Emerging Professionals Network - A platform for emerging professionals working or interested in transport to network and learn and develop their skills alongside like-minded individuals.
Marko Mrsic, Managing Director of SITE Traffic said “I have been involved with AITPM since the 90’s starting off as a student member with absolutely no grey hair. After a couple of decades, I moved into a committee role where I was involved in organizing, sponsoring and presenting at many of the awesome seminars and conferences AITPM puts on. During this time, I was extremely privileged to be one of the few senior members to be awarded the very first Fellow membership back in 2006.” Marko went on to say “After spending some 12 years abroad in Asia I now can’t wait to get back involved with AITPM as a major sponsor and cherish the career development opportunities this brings to our staff, along with what I can give back to an organization and industry I’m very passionate about”.
